A little while back my dear friend Eddie left the big city and moved out west (L.A.). I wanted to make him something nice as a going away present and thought a set of post cards would be perfect (and hopefully encourage some snail mail back to the east coast!). These also make great stocking stuffers for the far away male friend in your life. Don't feel like drinking yourself silly to acquire the supplies?? Ask your bartender friend to raid their bin at work!
Beckie at Infarrantly Creative has a great tutorial for making postcards from cereal boxes. I gave this project a boozy modification to fit Eddie & my mutual love for Lone Star and the state of Texas!
Here's the finished product, full process photos after the jump. Check out Infarrantly Creative for the tutorial!
*Side Note* .. last I checked, Infarrantly Creative's blog is down (or at least the links weren't working for me.. but I am leaving them there to give credit where credit is due in hopes that things are up and running over there soon!!

- Beer Carriers (I used 8)
- Scissors
- Ruler
- Paper Cutter (can also just use scissors)
- Corner Rounder (optional)
- Fine Point Marker
APPROX TIME: 1 hr.
If you are an avid beer drinker.. you may just have a few of these in your recycle bin.. I "borrowed" some from work :).
Using my paper cutter, I cut the cards down to the size suggested in Becky's tutorial.
Round off the corners
Use a ruler and fine point marker to add the lines.. I just improvised this one.. no special measuring involved... there's those nasty glue spots!
Wrap em up and send em out!!
