I LOVE LOVE LOVE making my own Christmas cards! Something about putting on the holiday music and crafting away in red & green that really gets you into the Christmas spirit! And I don't mean to toot my own horn or anything.. but my cards get cuter and cuter every year.
Here's some group shots.. more close ups and list of supplies & techniques used after the jump!
Happy Holiday Crafting!

Although I don't have specific step-by-step pictures, I think y'all can manage from the end product pictures :).
Materials Used:
- Card stock
- Scrap fabric
- ribbon
- decorative scissors
- corner rounder
- stamps & ink
- embossing powder & dryer (optional)
- sequin ribbon
- sewing machine (optional - you could always modge podge the fabric/ribbon in place, I have in the past but I don't like the way it makes the paper curl & look glossy, a simple gluing would probably work too)
Time: Several hours.. pop in your favorite holiday movies, these can get tedious (though I made about 20, if you are making less your time will obviously be shorter)
Difficulty: Newbie - the gentleman even popped in to do a couple
Wintery Look: A blue & white color scheme is unexpected and cute in a sea of red & green this season.
Sequins stuck on with double stick tape
Ribbon in the Corners Technique: Various ribbon & scrap fabric placed in diagonal strips in corners and sewn down onto card.
Wreath Technique: Cut large circle from scrap fabric, run a large gathering stitch around the middle of the circle, pull threads & gather to desired size, stitch down onto card.
Tree Technique: -cut out scrap fabric in shape of tree & sew onto card -decorate with strips of ribbon or -stitch in zig zag pattern across tree for "ribbon" effect -stars cut out of scrap fabric
In this one I cut holes in the fabric in order to place ornament stamps on the paper underneath!
