Craft Life: January's Cards

One of my new years resolution's is to keep in better touch with people, and underneath that umbrella I'm including being more diligent about sending out birthday/anniversary/etc. cards every month.  I love doing handmade cards, I feel like they add that extra special something to make a person smile.  At the end of every month, once the cards have all left the mail (because I don't want to spoil any surprises), I will be sharing with you the cards I made for that month.  I am going to make it a creative challenge to have different designs for each month.

Enjoy my handmade greetings!

I just love bunting!  I would like to make a full sized one just for decoration!
Fabric scraps are one of my favorite mediums for card making (next to stamps of course!)

I think this little dancing girl stamp is my favorite!  I'm still getting the hang of my embossing technique.

xoxo stamp + my sloppy signature

My best friend got hired on to her first teaching job this month, so of course I had to congratulate her!

Thought I would also share any gift wrapping too, something I also like to get creative with.

Plain craft paper and gingham scrap fabric keeps the bow masculine (this was for the Gentleman).

I'd love to see some of your handmade card ideas!

Happy Crafting!
