Ways to Wear || Printed Chiffon Dress

Dress - For Love and Liberty

The Dress:

I inherited this little beauty from my cousin, and am completely in awe of it's beautiful print.  I'm not sure how much you can tell from the picture, but each different print is part of the fabric - it's not blocked together.  Each different geometric print comes together to make a beautiful geometric pattern.  The bright orange mixed with navy give it a sort of Mediterranean feel.
This dress is so versatile, I love discovering new ways to wear it.  The shape is super easy and incredibly flattering, and the chiffon fabric with subtle ruching at the center just makes it fall so nicely.

Necklace, Purse, Watch - vintage; Shoes - Steve Madden
The dress is quite see-through, so to wear it alone you have to wear a slip (although it makes a great swim-suit cover up!).  On it's own, it makes the perfect, easy summer dress.

Blazer & Boots - Vintage, Necklace - handmade by my bestie!, Sweater - Forever 21, Tights - Ricky's
Layered with navy tights, a sweater, and a blazer this dress screams fall.  Adding cowboy boots brings a playful, eclectic feel where the blazer adds sophistication.

Skirt - Thrifted Forever 21, Belt & Shoes - Vintage, Bracelet - Fancy French Cologne
The most creative thing you can do with a dress like this, is wear it as a top!  I actually like the way the bottom of the dress looks peeking out from the hem of the skirt, but you could also use this technique with a longer skirt for less quirky-ness.  Add a hint of sexy by not wearing an undershirt and letting a pretty bra peep through.

Do you have a simple chiffon dress like this?  How do you wear it?
